Beyer Home & Carriage Museum Season:

The Beyer Home and Carriage House Museum is closed for the season.  We will open again on May 25, 2024.

Speaker Series: First Thursday of the Month, September — April, 6:30 P. M.

Each month will feature a speaker on some topic relating to Oconto County history.  Watch Facebook for the current program details.

2nd Annual Oconto County Historical Society Antiques & Collectible Sale
The Second Annual Antiques & Collectibles Sale will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Beyer Home & Carriage Museum, 915 Park Avenue, Oconto, WI.
As a fundraiser for the Oconto County Historical Society, four local collectors will be selling many of their antiques and collectibles with a sizable portion of the proceeds donated to the Oconto County Historical Society. Some of the items in the fundraiser include: A vast amount
of Oconto Beer memorabilia and other breweriana, including Oconto Beer cases, wooden crates, aluminum kegs, oak barrels, glassware, barware, posters, photos, platers, coasters, trays, advertising labels, illuminated beer signs, beer steins (mostly German), etc. Also included are some rare pre-prohibition items. Hochgreve, Rahrs, Menominee-Marinette, Hagemeister, Peoples, and Northern are just a few of the many brands represented. Additional items included are antique cut glass, hand-painted china, antique and vintage Christmas ornaments, antique doll and rocking chair, antique art glass, framed art, oil painting by Orville Meyer of Oconto,
Cuthberson Christmas China and Mugs, Stanley Toys, Oconto memorabilia, many other antiques and collectibles, and many antique garage and household items. No museum artifacts from the Beyer Home & Carriage Museum will be for sale; however, the Museum’s Gift Shop will be open offering books, T-shirts and various memorabilia for sale.
