Friday, May 12 through Sunday, May 14, 2017 — Wausakiu Fur Trade Rendezvous
Wausakiu Fur Trade Rendezvous, May 12, 13, and 14, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the Beyer Home and Carriage House Museum grounds in Oconto. Reenactors will portray historically accurate Voyageur encampment, Native American camp, and working fur trade post. Live demonstrations will include black powder demonstrations, tomahawk throwing, traditional cooking, traditional music, and historical displays. The Beyer Home and Carriage House Museum will be open for tours. The event is open to the public and is free. Museum tours will be charged at a nominal fee.
